Chat Alertz – Chrome extension
Chat Alertz is designed to run locally in your browser. It watches live chat pages you visit and triggers desktop/browser notifications when your configured keywords match. We do not operate a backend service that receives or stores your chat content.
We do not collect or store chat messages or personal communications.
The extension may process limited technical information required for licensing and subscription verification, such as a license key and basic extension/device identifiers. This information is used only to verify activation/subscription status.
Licensing / activation: Chat Alertz uses BrowserBill for licensing and subscription verification. The extension may send a license key and basic extension/device identifiers to BrowserBill to confirm subscription status.
Payments: If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe via BrowserBill). Payment information is handled entirely by those providers and is never collected or stored by the Chat Alertz extension.
We do not sell personal data. We only share the limited licensing verification data described above with BrowserBill for the purpose of verifying subscription/activation status.
Your rules and settings remain in your browser’s extension storage until you remove them, reset settings, or uninstall the extension. Licensing verification data is handled by BrowserBill according to their policies.
We use Chrome’s extension storage for local settings. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but Chat Alertz is designed to minimize data collection and keep chat content local.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
